Evaluation

From the research I have done of music magazines, I have a brief idea of what I would like my magazine Cover, contents and DPS to look like.

Magazine cover: 

I would like it to be a special edition magazine, based around something in-particular like a chart or a band. I would also like the colour scheme to be red, white, black and grey as I have found out that these are some of the main colours associated with the genre I have decided to go for. I would also like the main picture of the cover to be of just one single person, who I will to portray as being the lead singer of a band.

Contents page: 

I have decided that I want my contents page to be unlike the layout of most of the contents pages that I have seen, I also want most of it to be vastly unconventional, as this will definitely make the contents page unique, and will also give the magazine a 'personality' of it's own . To do this I am going to go on Google and use an image of another magazine within the same genre as my own as the basis of my contents page.

Double Page Spread: 

For my double page spread I want the background to be black so that the images on the page stand out, I will them make the writing white, and the title and sub-headings in a colour like blue or purple so that they stand out and are easily read. The layout and fonts will be the same as that of the cover and the contents page, but I would like this page to be vastly different so that not every page in the magazine looks the same.
